The Creative Force Behind the Show
At the helm of this dazzling production is the incomparable Phillida Le Roux-Liebenberg, a Cape Town-born creative visionary whose passion for music and dance shines in every detail of Disco City. A proud alumnus of UCT Ballet School and a former Sun City showgirl, Phillida brings decades of performance expertise to the stage.
This marks her first-ever self-funded production, created alongside her husband, Vernon Liebenberg. Together, they’ve transformed a dream into a reality, delivering a show bursting with joy, rhythm, and nostalgia.
